ECOALF Manlie Jacket Women’s

The Manlie coat is made of 100% recycled polyester, with a 100% recycled polyester lining and 100% recycled PrimaLoft® polyester filling. Recycled polyester cuts down on the use of fossil resources, CO2 emissions, and water and energy consumption by reusing plastic waste such as PET bottles, while maintaining the properties of virgin polyester. This long, functional and elegant coat with a two-way zip and water-repellent finish is perfect for keeping you warm and dry.

Care instructions

Minimize washing machine use: ECOALF product care

We recomment air drying your clothes outdoors. Following our product care instructions will help make sure that your gear has a long, interesting life.

WASHING

When washing – use lower temperatures and shorter cycles.

WASH LESS

Save water and energy consumption by washing your clothes only when strictly necessary. If you want to remove a stain, wash the affected area with soap and a sponge.

MINIMIZE THE USE OF THE DRYER

After washing your clothes hang it on the outside to avoid using the dryer, if the weather conditions allow it, the sun and the wind are the best allies to dry your clothes quickly and efficiently.

MINIMIZE IRONING

After washing your clothes, hang them up outside and avoid using the dryer.

PADDED COATS

We recommend you wash your padded coats with cold water and basic soap powder. Once the washing cycle has been completed, let the clothes dry on a horizontal surface, away from sources of heat and turn them around every so often, taking advantage of the movement of the pen inside. If you are going to use a tumble dryer, we recommend that you use a program with the lowest possible temperature and place 2 or 3 clean tennis balls inside to prevent the boom from clumping. DO NOT iron your garment and never use softener or similar products.

"Ecoalf was born in 2009, both the name and concept of the brand came after the birth of my two sons: Alfredo and Alvaro. I wanted to create a truly sustainable fashion brand and I believed the most sustainable thing to do was to stop using natural resources in a careless way to ensure those of the next generation. Recycling could be a solution if we were able to make a new generation of recycled products with the same quality and design as the best non recycled.

We believe we have a mission that goes beyond just business. Fashion is one of the largest consumer goods industry in the world and the second most pollutant. I believe the time when fashion was just about looking good is over.
