The Fitzsimmons Citylite has taken an earth-loving bound forward with a brand-new algae-infused Bloom upper, helping to return clean water and fresh air to our planet. The microfleece-lined bootie keeps toes warm and dry, while the grippy Bloom sole provides enhanced traction to keep you upright whatever the weather.

What is the Bloom?

An innovative footwear solution made with repurposed algae biomass, Rise by Bloom is engineered to replace a percentage of plastic polymer typically used for making conventional EVA shoes. Bloom’s process simultaneously sweeps our lakes and freshwater ecologies of overly abundant algae growth, transforming undesirable excess into an environmentally sound product. The same manufacturing process locks away CO2 and purifies 50 cubic meters (50m3) of air for a cleaner, healthier ecosystem.

Waterproof

Waterproof shoes and clothing are designed to be worn in humid weather. The waterproof membrane and water-repellent coating provide maximum protection against rain and wet air.

Thanks to a special waterproof membrane, the shoes are moisture resistant and allow the skin to breathe. The membrane inside the shoes evaporates moisture and repels water, so your feet will always stay dry.

Waterproof clothing is covered with a water-repellent coating, this technology prevents the fabric from absorbing moisture, forcing water to drip off the surface. Glued seams provide extra protection against moisture.
