Bug Proof Collection – Childhood Adventures Without Insect Bites!

The Reima Bug Proof collection is designed to allow little ones to explore nature freely – without mosquitoes, ticks, or other pesky insects interfering. The clothes are made using safe, non-toxic materials with a special insect-repellent treatment that keeps bugs away without harming children's skin or the environment.

TELL BUGS TO BUZZ OFF

The Si Repel Mosquito finish by the Portuguese company Smart Inovation is non-toxic and biodegradable. It repels ticks, mosquitoes, flies, wasps and even lice, without harming them or any other insects or nature. The finish is based on the repellent IR3535, which is almost identical to naturally occurring beta alanine, and considered by the WHO and the EPA to be safe for humans, even babies. The repellent effect of the finish will endure at least 50 washes.

HEALTH FACTS

Insect repellents can help reduce the risk of mosquito and tick bites, which can transmit diseases. Diseases carried by mosquitoes include: Zika, West Nile Virus, Malaria, Encephalitis (several types), Yellow fever, Dengue fever, and Chikungunya virus.

Ticks carry diseases too, such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Ehrlichiosis and Encephalitis.

BugProof collection clothing is treated with a special coating that helps repel ticks and other insects.
