Very warm winter boots with a super snug pile lining. Elastic laces for easy pull-on and best fit.

These vegan kids' winter boots were made to brave the coldest conditions and have been tested in temperatures reaching -20 °C. They boast great traction thanks to their flexible rubber outsoles that minimise slips. Soft synthetic uppers repel water and dirt while a pile lining ensures feet stay cosy and warm. Removable felt insoles offer additional comfort while the safe, elastic Reima laces can be easily adjusted.

How to clean REIMA children's shoes:

For wet dirt, give the shoes a quick rinse and wipe off any mud. Let them dry and brush off the rest with a shoe brush;
For dry dirt, let the shoes dry completely, then brush off the dirt with a soft brush;
A quick brush-down every now and then prevents dirt build-up.

How to get wet shoes dry

Dry at room temperature in a well-ventilated area. Avoid placing shoes near radiators or heaters, as too much heat can cause damage;
Remove the insoles to help them dry faster;
If the temperature stays below 40°C (104°F), shoes can be dried in a drying cabinet or laundry drying room;
If possible, have two pairs of shoes for your child. This way, one pair can dry while the other is ready to use, so wet shoes never have to rush.

Insoles for comfort and care

Insoles are key to comfort and shoes' longevity:

Replace insoles when they start to wear out to keep the shoes comfy and extend their lifespan;
During colder months, use thicker, woollen, or aluminium-plated insoles to keep feet warm.

Can I wash shoes in the washing machine?

If you're wondering how to wash your kids' shoes in the washing machine, remember that not all shoes are suitable for this. Check first to see if your kid's Reima shoes are machine-washable. If yes, follow these tips:

Use a mild detergent and stick to a delicate cycle to protect the shoes;
Fasten hook-and-loop straps to avoid them sticking to other items;
Place the shoes in a protective washing bag if washing with other items.

Mild and gentle care for kids' rainboots

Clean with mild soapy water after use if rinsing doesn't remove the dirt. No need for strong detergents;
Keep the rain boots in an upright position, out of sunlight and away from heaters. Heat can harm rubber, and bends in the shafts can lead to cracks or permanent damage.

Make a daily habit out of shoe care

A quick brush-down goes a long way. Removing excess dirt and sand every day or after every use keeps shoes looking great on the regular. They’ll need less heavy-duty washing, and you’ll use less water and energy on shoe care, which saves both you and the environment.
